From Monday 17 January 2011 Queensland Rail one-third school fares will be removed from sale. As an alternative, secondary students 15 years and older will be eligible to purchase a TRANSlink concession go card, provided they present their student ID cards at the time of purchase. Students will also need to carry their student IDs with them when using their go card. Single paper tickets will remain for sale. For further info visit www.translink.com.au or call 13 12 30.
