Neish Takes the Win

Congratulations to MIC Alumni Neish (Taneisha Swanson), who was crowned winner of The Songwriting Prize 2024 on Saturday 26 October.

The Songwriting Prize 2024 took place at The Factory Theatre in Sydney, where the grand finalists performed their entry for the final time. Finalists shared the story behind their song, which responded to the theme of “Acceptance”.

Over the past 9 years Listen Up Music have hosted The Songwriting Prize, which is Australia’s largest live music songwriting competition.
