QUBE Effect Awards

The QUBE Effect Awards took place on Monday 19th of August at The Triffid. Current student Allegra Neve (Dunning) and alumni Jasper Longden, Josh Woo, Ixara Dorizac & Cody Lawson were all finalists in the awards and took home both the Original Song Award and Development Award on the night.

Allegra Neve: Original Song Award
Awarded to the song that shows excellence in the craft of song writing an original composition. In addition, Allegra was the finalist for a paid performance at Teneriffe Festival
Prizes:

  • $250 Sonic Sherpa voucher

  • $500 Silk & Squeeg merchandise screen-printing credit

  • $200 Triffid voucher

  • $500 Valley Eyewear voucher

  • 4ZZZ artist package including an artist subscription

 Ixaras (Ixara Dorizac): Development Award
Awarded to support the act that has shown commitment, originality and great potential in their artistic pursuits. In addition, Ixara was the finalist for a paid performance at GOMA Up Late, and The Tivoli
Prizes:

  • $500 Silk & Squeeg merchandise screen-printing credit

  • $250 Dutch Vinyl voucher 

  • $500 Store DJ voucher

  • Management advice session with Sunroom Group

  • A&R advice session with Dew Process Records

  • 4ZZZ artist package including an artist subscription
